It wasn't anyplace she'd seen with Steven before...but there was a building with animals on the front, and she'd been struck with the idea that he might be inside, so she entered without even thinking about it. And now she's trapped in here, and she can't summon her wings! Why can't she? She knows her gem isn't cracked again; she'd feel that. Why does she even do these things...
There's some humans here too, but she left them all back in the first room and went out on her own, cautiously skirting around the large robots. Does Earth even have that level of technology? They're not moving, and she can't really tell if they're working or not, but she decides not to turn her back to them, walking carefully backwards towards the door. She's got to find her way out of here.]

[Well, she's been traveling with the humans for a little while now, and Lapis knows they need to eat. So since she's in the kitchen, she may as well bring something back, right?
If only she knew much of anything about human food. The Gem stands in the darkness, having piled a lot of cans and things she found in the cabinets on a table. She's picking each up in turn and inspecting them, trying to figure out what would be best. Is this really what they think is good to ingest?]
