test drive meme

FAZBEAR'S FRIGHT: TEST DRIVE | ||||
Welcome to Fazbear's Fright: The Horror Attraction! Interested in the game but not sure if your character would fit in the setting? Then this meme is for you! Hell, bring in anyone you want, even if you don't plan on applying. Everybody's thought at some point what they would do in frightening situations - they just happen to involve murderous robots in this case. When making a top level with your character, make sure to include their full name and canon in the subject line, and whether they are original canon or AU or what have you. Keep the setting in mind for writing prompts, and have fun! |

Dawn didn't say much else; she retraced her steps, keeping her ears and eyes perked for anything that seemed even more out of the ordinary than normal. She feels for the girl on the other end, worrying just as much--if not even more, for her well being.
Okay, previous room, in. She takes a deep breath before talking again.
"Thank you. You're doing great." She wants to instill some more confidence--it's the least she can do. There's the sound of light shuffling--she's adjusting her scarf a little, mostly to make sure she doesn't have a long, flowing target for the grabbing.
"We can do this."

The green lights click on and she releases the panel scooping up the screen again and finding Dawn after a quick cycle of the rooms. All the while the urge to check her own window is eating at her anxiety.
"OK, OK um...so the Bunny is two rooms away from you now...I think it's headed back to the room you were in you should go..." Another precious second as she flipped to the next room. "Right hall way, but don't go into the kitchen. There's no camera in there I can't see if it's safe!"
no subject
"Will do."
Her response is quick, and she does what she's told--once she feels she's far enough away from the bunny, she'll be trying to flash her light down the hall to check for any stray ones coming this way. Maybe it'll help her see some of the others as well?

In all the commotion she'd forgotten to wind the music box! It was almost out!
Pressing the button so hard she was afraid she might crack the screen Kitsurabami felt her blood pressure sky rocket as the little countdown clock rewound. She had never seen the puppet in action but the stories alone were enough to keep her heart racing.
"It's OK, we're OK. Everyone is OK!" She stammered and yammered to herself unaware her radio was still transmitting. An alarm went off to warn her of the ventilation once more and with a groan she dove upon the maintenance panel to reset the systems.
Meanwhile...something in the kitchen began to clatter around.

"Are you okay? Hey, are you--"
Dawn froze. She didn't utilize her light yet--what if it managed to see her light, and then her? She didn't want to get up close and personal. Dawn's quick breathing might be heard on the other end as she tries to find some place to hide--
"Please, are you okay? Please answer...!"
no subject
"I'm here I'm here I'm sorry I just...lots going on and...um...forward...yes forward is safe. I'll make the sound go the other way."
A few quick swipes and the Balloon Boy giggle burst in a room behind Dawn drawing the attention of whatever was in the kitchen.

Dawn's voice was clear, and she smiled just a bit. She was going to make some further progress once she felt it was safe to take a few steps forward, but all the same...
"Focus on yourself for a bit. You're doing amazing, but I don't wanna see you get hurt. Okay?"
no subject
"Well as luck would have it, if something should happen to me odds are you won't see it Ms. Dawn." A bit of dark humor never hurt anyone right?
Another giggle from further away, the sound of things shuffling in the dark. Kitsurabami was starting to worry the group was too far spread apart and tried to steer some other survivors towards Dawn. A curse as the cameras went down and she was forced to reset.
"What I wouldn't give for my setup back home. There's enough TVs there I could watch every room at the same time."
no subject
She could hear the giggle from farther out, and some things shuffling; maybe it'd be a little safer to proceed now that they were distracted. And so, she did, keeping her eyes on the look out for animatronics. ...And other people, but admittedly, they weren't a priority over getting to another diddly darn stairwell.
Maybe she'd meet up with more of them there.
"You'd probably need your own generator for that--it'd be very useful, though, I agree."
no subject
"Sorry. I'm just trying to figure out the purpose of all of this. Is it...some kind of a test? There doesn't seem to be any common factors that connect all of us. What's the point of a tower like this?"
Talking seemed to be helping her keep her mind on her work as she triggered the sound effect again, still there was an audible flinch when she shifted cameras and the damned rabbit was starring directly into one of the cameras like he could see her. "Ah! Damn thing..." Her voice trembled slightly on the curse betraying her nerves.
no subject
Though, hearing her start to curse again caused Dawn to perk up. "I-I...I don't know. I don't know if I can answer, but...maybe there isn't a reason. Or it could be hidden..."
She's got her light flashing around her current room, and she's proceeding. Maybe she'll be able to find whatever caused her to curse and flash it away...
no subject
"I'm sorry, I'm just babbling away here. I didn't expect an answer really. But...thank you."
How was it this girl was showing more wisdom and courage then a trained military officer? Kitsurabami would be more ashamed if this wasn't such a frightening situation.
"When we get out of here Miss Dawn, I'd like to treat you to something. Maybe we can talk face to face instead of over a radio. Maybe ice cream?"
She felt like she owed the girl that much for calming her down and having faith in her.
