FAZBEAR'S FRIGHT: TEST DRIVE

Welcome to Fazbear's Fright: The Horror Attraction! Interested in the game but not sure if your character would fit in the setting? Then this meme is for you! Hell, bring in anyone you want, even if you don't plan on applying. Everybody's thought at some point what they would do in frightening situations - they just happen to involve murderous robots in this case. When making a top level with your character, make sure to include their full name and canon in the subject line, and whether they are original canon or AU or what have you. Keep the setting in mind for writing prompts, and have fun!

I don't know. It smells like food, but it's not really acting like food.

[She thumps it lightly against the ground]

Its really hard to bite it. Humans have really, really weak little mouths and they won't be able to bite this at all. I bet they'll break all their teeth on it...

I wonder if it's supposed to be softer?

[Lapis looks from the pizza-banging to the fridge. It did feel colder in there...]

Oh! It's frozen! [That makes sense, right?] Is there...something to heat it up?

[Gems have always had more advanced technology than humans, but they're pretty short on machines for dealing with food in particular. She'll just go and look at some of these things. She can probably figure out what they do.]

How did it get frozen? It's not cold in here... Is it cold in the box? How did it do that?

[She drops the pizza to inspect the box, mystified when it opens into ice and cold]

It's winter in a box!

[Meanwhile, Lapis is over here putting her head in the oven. Those look like they could be some kind of heating coil? Let her turn some of the dials on the top, and then sort of hover in front of it, holding her hand inside.]

I think it's getting warmer... [Okay, she'll sit back on her heels now to watch it.]

[Aisling has now discovered ice cream.

And is eating it with her bare hands.

She wanders over to the oven to watch the coils heat up in wonder]

What's that?

Some sort of heating device.

[It must be for the food. Why else would it be in here?]

Put the round food in - what is that? [Aisling is eating something else? Where did she get that?]

Like an oven for bread?

[She holds out the ice cream box]

I don't know! It's really sweet and really cold, my fingers are really numb. It's pretty tasty though.

Oh... [That explains that. Some of it is served cold.] ...that'll melt if we take it. You should probably just eat it now.

[Then she won't be hungry, and there'll be more round cheese stuff for the others. Speaking of, let's take the cheese and put it in the oven. She isn't sure how hot it needs to be, or for how long, so...she'll just sit here and watch it?]

I don't know if we have time for this...

Okay. But then I won't have enough room for the cheese bread thing.

[But she keeps eating it anyway, making a huge ice cream mess.]

What if we just brought back the cans? Maybe they'll like them? And um... we can come back for the cheese bread thing later?

It...should be fine. As long as we don't leave it too long.

[But they're going to have to pass by here later anyway, right? Lapis will make sure she remembers to check in on it. While the idea of this building burning to the ground isn't an entirely unpleasant one, it shouldn't happen while they're still inside.]

Okay! We can do that. [Since it's going to be in longer, though, she'll turn the heat down.]

Okay! Then we'll just come back when it's done and pick it up later!

[Seems easy enough, that's how baking worked, right?]

[Lapis rather doubts it - nothing in this place is good. But they have to eat something.]

[This ice cream isn't bad. She offers some over to Lapis]

Do you not have to eat, or you can't eat?

[Lapis regards the ice cream a little warily. She's not sure she wants it on her hands.]

But I don't need to. No one ever did it back home. [and then earth]
