FAZBEAR'S FRIGHT: TEST DRIVE

Welcome to Fazbear's Fright: The Horror Attraction! Interested in the game but not sure if your character would fit in the setting? Then this meme is for you! Hell, bring in anyone you want, even if you don't plan on applying. Everybody's thought at some point what they would do in frightening situations - they just happen to involve murderous robots in this case. When making a top level with your character, make sure to include their full name and canon in the subject line, and whether they are original canon or AU or what have you. Keep the setting in mind for writing prompts, and have fun!

His choice of word makes her stomach flip, and she doesn't quite make eye contact while she steels herself once again. She'd been a lure, once. Or was she the one reeling them in? Either way, she feels as powerless here as she ever has. "I wasn't lured into anything," she said quickly, defensively. "I just..." Just walked into an obviously sketchy, run down pizza parlour that had inexplicably appeared on the grounds of the psychiatric hospital. She knows there's no way to make that sound good. But at least she wasn't the only one who'd found their way inside.

She peers out of the crack in the doorway, trying to approximate the distance to the bathroom. "I think so, unless they're really close. But I don't hear any footsteps or anything."

Goddammit Ellis.

"It's all righ', I got duped here thinkin' there was som'thin' to eat tha' wasn't canned or spoiled," he offered, his voice as calm as it can be under the circumstances. She seemed like such a sweetheart and getting stuffed into one of those suits wasn't the way El thought she should go on the next world.

Ellis peeked over and made a lower down gesture, "Keep close t' the floor an' outta their reach, okay Miss? We're gettin' outta here." He wasn't trying to be a hero or show-off, just trying to think on his feet.

Abigail was certain that was easier said than done, but she decides to just follow his lead for now. "All right. After you."

Taking the lead wasn't as foreign as El thought it would be, but then again, he was a survivor and this lady didn't look like it, or at least a zombie apocalypse one.

He kept his hand on hers, doing his best to lay low before he thought he spotted a safer spot: one of the bathrooms. Okay, that may have been a bit unhygienic but hell if they could hide in the ladies' bathroom, they will.

"S-sorry for the accomodations, an' my bein' here," he whispered, just a bit pink under the darkness

She breathes a sigh of relief as the bathroom door shuts behind them, hoping the mechanical monstrosity would ignore this room and continue on down the corridor, as she was sure that locking themselves in the stalls wouldn't be that much protection if it did follow them inside.

"That's the least of my worries right now." She looks around for anything they can use as a weapon. "At least there's water, if we're stuck in here."

Weapon improvisation was more along Ellis' alley and it helped that this place wasn't that stable to begin with. He tried pulling some of the support pipes or even-

Oh hello a wrench...he immediately offered it to Abigail, "This outta whack 'em good." That and a nearby fire extinguisher would be there defenses for the night.

"Nothin' great but this oughta give us some leeway before we bail out."

Abigail turns the wrench over in her hands, thinking how heavy it felt compared to the hunting knife, trying to envision herself whacking it at their pursuers and wondering if she had enough brute strength to hit it hard enough to do considerable damage. It had been much easier with a blade - too easy - but no, these were mechanical monsters and she most certainly needed to defend herself against them, it was completely different to the ambiguity she still felt over Boyle's death.

She swings it in front of her a couple of times to get the feel of it.

"Bail out to where?"

"Anywhere not here," El assured her, "There's a town outside these walls, might not be too safe but we can at least hide out."

The mechanic knew that these automatons had to have rules or something that kept the restaurant going. But what those rules were, it was up in the air. "I blast 'em, you whack 'em an' we run for it, all right?"

Simple plan, yes, and risky to boot as it involved getting close enough.
