FAZBEAR'S FRIGHT: TEST DRIVE
Welcome to Fazbear's Fright: The Horror Attraction! Interested in the game but not sure if your character would fit in the setting? Then this meme is for you! Hell, bring in anyone you want, even if you don't plan on applying. Everybody's thought at some point what they would do in frightening situations - they just happen to involve murderous robots in this case.

When making a top level with your character, make sure to include their full name and canon in the subject line, and whether they are original canon or AU or what have you. Keep the setting in mind for writing prompts, and have fun!

Office

On one hand, volunteering to stay at the run-down poor excuse for a security office had probably not been the greatest of ideas, especially in terms of his life expectancy. On the other hand, Wash had a perfect memory, could handle being alone, could function on a lack of sleep, and was too goddamn stupid to put his own survival first. It wasn't like he was about to ask one of the kids who'd showed up here to hold down this role.

It had been easy enough to establish routine checks of the system, easy enough to keep an eye on the cameras, easy enough to check the music box, and goddamn terrifying when the fucked up fox thing came down the vents. He'd slammed it shut in time, but damn if that wasn't a good example of what he was in for for the foreseeable future.

That sealed vent was a ticking time bomb as it was. As long as that fox was active in the vent, he wasn't opening it.

Area Two: Prize Room

There was no stairwell in sight, and Wash was beyond caring what anyone thought at this point; to that end, he'd dumped a couple shelves of plush toys on the floor and flopped down on the pile. Perfect? No. Softer than linoleum? Yes. Falling asleep in an area that wasn't completely secure wasn't the smartest move, but he'd been around long enough to recognize patterns: the only animatronic that came in here was the ceiling fox, and he'd hear that thing coming a mile away. Sleeping wasn't the best idea, but he could at least get off his feet for a while.

But first, one thing to check. "Please," he said into his radio, "tell me the music box is wound. Please."

[You know what else is creepy? People gliding down the hallways and glowing an unearthly green. Like Ermac is doing right now, and directly toward the office. Really, he's just checking in to get a better idea of where everything and everyone is, but damn if he doesn't look an awful lot like some kind of spectre...]

[Well, fuck.]

[He's hallucinating. That's gotta be it. He's just hallucinating. Again. Wash risks a glance at the ventilation systems - there's no error readout, but that doesn't mean they're not fucking with him. They've gone down with no warning before.]

[But if it's not a hallucination, and there really is some robot out there that he just hasn't seen before-]

[He pulls his mask down over his face and goes still. It's a gamble, but it's the best he's got. Hopefully it won't get him - or anyone who's depending on him to watch the cameras - killed.]

[There's a man sitting in the chair wearing a bear mask. That's...odd, to say the least. He stares for a moment, very thoroughly puzzled, but ultimately just shrugs and turns to the monitors. If this man wanted to sit around in a bear mask, well, that was his business.

Ermac turns to the monitors and starts examining them, making mental notes about where the machines are. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a clear path to the next stairwell. He'd have to wait it out. Well, if he's stuck in the office, he might as well have at least some idea of who, or what, he's in here with.]

Tell us: are you a man or a machine?
