FAZBEAR'S FRIGHT: TEST DRIVE | ||||
Welcome to Fazbear's Fright: The Horror Attraction! Interested in the game but not sure if your character would fit in the setting? Then this meme is for you! Hell, bring in anyone you want, even if you don't plan on applying. Everybody's thought at some point what they would do in frightening situations - they just happen to involve murderous robots in this case. When making a top level with your character, make sure to include their full name and canon in the subject line, and whether they are original canon or AU or what have you. Keep the setting in mind for writing prompts, and have fun! |
Tohru Adachi | Persona 4
He couldn't believe anyone actually would believe him when he said that, but the idiots just nodded and smiled, feeling confident that he would do exactly what he said he would do. It was just like that year all over again, watching the little brats running around trying to solve the murders like twelve year olds playing cops and robbers. Then again, there was a big difference between cops and robbers and getting out of Murder: The Attraction, but Adachi didn't really care.
He leaned back in the chair, kicking his feet up and relaxing. The office had to be the safest place in this hellhole; why else would the cameras and everything be controlled from here? All Adachi needed to do was just sit back, maybe even take a nap, and wait for the sun to come up. It would be easy to get out of here if there was sunlight coming through the windows, right?
He shrugged to himself, folding his hands over his stomach and closing his eyes. Either way, there wasn't much for him to worry about in here.
...right...?
Area One Stairway
Still, somehow, the group managed to get to the stairwell, though barely. Garrus did his best to get everyone out, but they barely escaped the Mangle. No thanks to the security guard, who seemed to be asleep on the job and only belatedly responded to their hails. It didn't help that Balloon Boy had shorted out the radios and flashlight just before their encounter with the Mangle; at least they were able to get the flashlights working just in time.
And - now that they were in the stairway - the radio was working again. With a frown, Garrus flicked his two-way back on.]
Hey. You better be awake.
no subject
What, who? Me? How can anyone sleep in a place like this?
[Never mind he had totally dozed off.]
no subject
[Just as he suspected.]
Oh, I don't know, you seem to have done a good job of it so far, detective.
no subject
[Nevermind that he had no idea what kind of trouble they had just narrowly managed to avoid. Adachi pulled open the camera, before letting out an alarmed noise.]
...oh boy. Why is this place so huge?
no subject
You realize you're just as dependent on us as we are you, right? At least one of those things was going in the direction of the office, remember?
Working together means working together. That includes you.
[Its moments like these that he can appreciate Shepard's amazing patience. And that situation had been far worse than this is. Granted, his life was still on the line, and--
...Well, that noise is different.]
We can figure that out later. What do we have to look forward to up these stairs?
no subject
[Adachi's eyes widened, and he nearly panicked. No, the office was supposed to be safe! There was no one coming here... was there?]
H-ha, no way. There's nothing coming here. There's nothing on the camera.
[He was totally fine. Toooootally fine. Completely and utterly fine.]
Uh, why are you going up the stairs anyway? I thought you guys were looking for an exit?
no subject
It's standing in the middle of the hallway, illuminated by the light from an animatronic head lamp down the other end of the hall. Surely it wasn't there a moment ago, was it?
The weird thing is, it's not moving. At least, it doesn't appear to be so. If anyone were to look close enough, they would see white lights in those eyes quickly moving back and forth, and a slight, subtle twitch of it's head. But other than that, perfectly still. Standing. Waiting, maybe. Waiting for what? That remains to be seen. ]
no subject
[What the hell were early 21st century human policemen being taught, seriously? Surely not just eating donuts like in the videos...especially since Adachi looks like, if anything, he could use one or two of them.]
The only way to go is up. There's no way down in this staircase. Its been this way for the past several flights. We haven't been able to go down.
[Which made no sense to him. They had been making good progress before going down. Then again, killer animatronics. Surely, anything is possible, including false stairways.
Right?]
no subject
Ahhh... what the hell is that...?!
[He didn't even know he whimpered that out loud.]
no subject
He doesn't even think about himself at the moment.]
Stay focused. Talk to me.
What's going on?
no subject
T-there's a thingie...! I think it's just down the hall from me...!
[And fuck it all, those white eyes may not have been looking at him, but they were terrifying.]
[Just to make his life worse, an alarm suddenly started going off, blaring through his ears and over the radio and bathing the office in red. Adachi near jumped out of his skin, almost diving under the desk, before he realized that "hard to breathe" sensation from before was getting worse.]
S-shit, forgot about the systems!
[He rolled himself over to the maintenance panel, hoping that siren wasn't enough for tall, dark, and creepy to hear.]
no subject
[Adachi. You had one job.]
Reset the system, use the voice to lure the monster away from the room!
no subject
[He couldn't really respond, more focused on getting that ventilation to reboot than he was on the alien guy's voice. The air actually tasted stale, and it was making him feel woozy and lightheaded. If this kept up, he was sure he was going to pass out...]
no subject
"Going up?"
"...the past several flights..."
Garrus' own blood runs cold. Fast.]
Oh no.
Adachi! Answer me! What are you resetting?
no subject
Unfortunately, those alarms are - well - alarmingly loud, and it rings throughout the entire building. It's more than enough for this particular creature to jerk it's head in the direction of the office, and in the next moment, it disappears from view.
After a few moments, there's suddenly a new noise: thump, thump, thump.
Guess who's crawling through the vents now? Don't forget to seal it up before it's too late. ]
no subject
Shit...!
[He shoved his way back to the cameras, flipping over to the vents and trying desperately to find the creepy guy...!]
no subject
it's far enough away yet, and the camera suddenly on it makes it stop moving, so that's good at least. but gosh, it sure smells something fierce, doesn't it? ]
no subject
[On his end, Garrus is getting more and more worried. He's doing his best not to just up and try and go back to the security office, since its pretty clear to him that his senses of direction and sight are FUBARed until Adachi resets the air.
Still he at least needs to keep communicating to the other. Try and make sure he's not dead.]
Tell me what's happening. What is going on?
no subject
[Adachi stabbed at the monitor, looking like he was about ready to bolt out of the office, just so that abomination from hell couldn't get directly to him. And fuck it all why did the vent cameras have to be so much clearer than the other cameras?!]
[All poor Garrus got to hear was Adachi's panicked breathing as the freaking vent took forever to fucking close.]

Area 2
At the current moment in time she was quite happily skipping through the halls. If someone listen in they'd here an attempt at singing, though humming would be more accurate. Maria didn't remember the words. If there was anything nearby she wouldn't notice it.
no subject
He grumbled under his breath, flicking over to the cameras so he could at least try and see who was doing that.
"Hey there; mind not gummin' up the radio kid?"
no subject
"Uu Hello? Hello it's Maria."
no subject
And by nice, he means she's gotta be out of her mind.
