FAZBEAR'S FRIGHT: TEST DRIVE
Welcome to Fazbear's Fright: The Horror Attraction! Interested in the game but not sure if your character would fit in the setting? Then this meme is for you! Hell, bring in anyone you want, even if you don't plan on applying. Everybody's thought at some point what they would do in frightening situations - they just happen to involve murderous robots in this case. When making a top level with your character, make sure to include their full name and canon in the subject line, and whether they are original canon or AU or what have you. Keep the setting in mind for writing prompts, and have fun!

"Yeah, hi," Adachi replied, not sounding like he really cared. "Nice that you're so happy about walking around in animatronic hell."

And by nice, he means she's gotta be out of her mind.

[Adachi stabbed at the monitor, looking like he was about ready to bolt out of the office, just so that abomination from hell couldn't get directly to him. And fuck it all why did the vent cameras have to be so much clearer than the other cameras?!]

[All poor Garrus got to hear was Adachi's panicked breathing as the freaking vent took forever to fucking close.]

Casey waited for a second, watching the door where the bird had exited before roughly yanking off his mask and sliding out of Wash's hand to sit on the floor. Had he even been breathing under that mask? The heavy breaths he was taking now sure suggested otherwise.

"This is so stupid," he finally said, glaring at a spot on the floor. They both could have been killed and what could Casey do about it? He felt useless, the one feeling Casey Jones hated most of all.

"It's just a kid's robot! We should be able to take that thing apart!" Where'd all his conviction go? Maybe he could make it come back if he tried hard enough...

[You know what else is creepy? People gliding down the hallways and glowing an unearthly green. Like Ermac is doing right now, and directly toward the office. Really, he's just checking in to get a better idea of where everything and everyone is, but damn if he doesn't look an awful lot like some kind of spectre...]

Maria perked up a little when the woman mentioned her name. That was enough for her to not be a stranger. But that didn't mean she wasn't wary and staring with narrowed eyes. Mama had gotten more strict after the key incident and Maria didn't want to get in trouble.

"Maria is from Japan and Maria likes television too... Not allowed snack food uu, but Maria likes that too."

He'll crash later, when it's safe to. Might need to call out of school sick, though he'd like to avoid that - Mitsuru might understand. He'll work extra-hard after to make up for it.

...The silence is a little awkward. Maybe he should try to fill it. "...Do you not need to sleep?"

They're being hunted by haunted animals, he's friends with a robot, he's willing to believe anything.

That grin on Maria's face only got wider at the comment. "Really uu?" Not even going to give the girl time to answer. "Maria likes magic. Maria is an apprentice witch." She stood a little bit straighter and tilted her chin up out of pride.

Only to frown again. "Uu they won't tell Maria. Magic is been blocked. Must be a strong witch here uu." That was definitely the problem. Maria could use her magic around Beato but Beato was strong enough to block Maria's magic is she wanted.

[At the wounded remark, he chuckles.]

Oh no, nothing like that.

[Well, he was injured at varying times, but it was nothing that actually disabled him. You know, being shot at, Reapers destroying things, and explosions next to his face. NBD. He got better.]

The conflict's over and there's peace. No one's fighting, right now.

[Also, yes. If they so much as breathed wrong on his sniper rifle...]

I didn't notice anything when I got here, but there are a lot of things about getting here that don't make sense. [How did they get so high up? Where did the door go? What's going on here?]

...There has to be some way to find out what's behind all of this. I don't think it happened by accident.

"Uu Maria is happy. Made lots of new friends uu uu." She pulled some of the toys out of her bag and hugged them as an after though. She was grinning away and she spoke.

[Whether or not Anise can live up to that remains to be seen, but she'll try. Even if on some level she kind of thinks she shouldn't survive this, she's got a goal to pursue now and she won't just up and die before she gets a chance at it. She'll go down fighting or not at all.]

...Did you lose a shoe?

[Actually, losing her own shoes might be a good idea, she hasn't noticed anything especially dangerous on the ground and stocking feet have to be quieter than bare or shod.]

One of those things? No, I don't think so. Its been pretty quiet...*but that was never a good sign. Crap.* ...we should move quickly.

*Sollux picks up the pace but still does his best to keep his steps as quiet as possible.*

[For once, even he can see that this isn't quite a good enough explanation.]

We were telekinetic. Our abilities seem to be...limited in here.

[ But you know what, just to spite you, she'll take her cute (albiet now useless) sparkly wings out for a moment. ]

[Lapis regards the ice cream a little warily. She's not sure she wants it on her hands.]

[Lapis pauses in her vehemence. She's not totally certain those things didn't move. When she continues, it's in more hushed, resigned tones.]

What can any of you do about those things, anyway?

"No."

Lapis is glad to have the silence broken, even if she wasn't actually sure how to do it herself. She's had plenty of silence, even if she'd never really pictured her freedom being anything like this. She had plenty of false ideas about that.

"I'm a Gem. We don't need to sleep or eat like humans." At least she still has that vestige of herself left. "We can do it anyway, but there's no reason to."

Heard them, mostly...I went here when one was getting too close.

[Those vents really are kind of a vulnerable spot, but they have one advantage from her view; the light seems much more bright in there. And since light seems to be some of their anathema...]

Could be more of us, or more of them. I'm surprised they just don't fall through...

Dawn doesn't really know how to respond to that; most things have a rhyme or reason behind them, but they can be really hard to understand. She at least knows that much from experience, but she doesn't know if it's her place to answer Kitsurabami.

Though, hearing her start to curse again caused Dawn to perk up. "I-I...I don't know. I don't know if I can answer, but...maybe there isn't a reason. Or it could be hidden..."

She's got her light flashing around her current room, and she's proceeding. Maybe she'll be able to find whatever caused her to curse and flash it away...

In the vent, yes.

[...Technically she didn't do it on purpose; the shoe was loose in the vent itself, and she lost it before she came out and flashed Anise in the face.

Hopefully it doesn't come back just because of that, but maybe it'd be good if she lost her other shoe when it was safe...]

Voice message? No I haven't noticed any of that just yet.

[Mainly because she was busy wondering why in the world anyone would want to keep audio of a laughing little boy. People and their fetishes, jeez...]

[She had been snooping around the room to look for anything that came close to a way out. But somehow, she stumbled upon a dark figure...stealing toys? He didn't seem to be metallic in anyway. Maybe he could be an ally?]

Toys? Really?

Another robot? But it sounded more like...wheezing?

[They were so close. All they needed at this point was to find a damn exit. but this place...WHO THE HELL PUTS UP THESE MANY BLANK EXITS!? Doesn't that violate building codes or something?

She sighs, and slips into a darker area of the room. Whatever was here, it was close, and she didn't want to die just yet.]

Only one thing could make a sound like that. The real question right now is "where is it"?

Robot?

[He looks down at his plastron and knocks on it.]

Nope, everything's still pretty organic in here little dude.

[He was taller. He wasn't ~~2014 bay turtle~~ massive. But everything was bigger in his part of the universe and that included him. But wait, this guy knows his name. He doesn't remember tell him his name. Did he meet this guy before?

Did the pizza give him amnesia?]

"That's wonderful. What kind of Television do you like?"

In the meantime Yumi had shuffled away from the Pizza and found a plastic plate to put it on. Napkins and a can of Root Beer was soon to follow before she set up a little meal for Maria.
